Appearance: Windows and Buttons

G

Guest

I am running a Dell Dimension 4400, Pent 4 1.8 GHz with 1 Gig. I do have SP2
installed.

I've got a strange one. In my Desktop Appearance for Windows and Buttons, I
no longer have Windows XP Style. I only have Classic Windows Style. The
machine seems to run just fine, except I believe it's a little slow.

Also in my Explorer, the drop down address bar always clears after closing
Explorer. This happens no matter where I put my history settings or my
temporary files settings. Also it is only on my profile. The Wife and
Daughter have no problems in this.

I'm wondering if this is a SLOW fatal error and have to get it fixed or if
it is just a nusaince.

I tried all the options you provided with no luck. When I would select XP
Theme, the Windows and Buttons drop down would not show anything. You drop
it down and it would give you Blank and Classic Style.

Could my Luna be corrupt? If so where do I get a replacement file?
