Hi:

Depending on the Sound Card you have, youi might be able to record 'what you
hear' into another file, and record as you listen to the stream.

For getting Real audio/video, i remember a program called tinra (that is not
real anymore). That may work, but requires real player installed.

laswt stream ripping i know of is Win Amp. use the diskwriter. Or, they have
saome streaming ripper plugin or somethog like htat

good luck

I use a program called "Streambox-vcr".
It's a beta version that popped up some years ago, then vanished when
copywrite lawers discovered it. I think the people that made it were
assinated and all that used it went underground.
You still might find a mirror of it somewhere, perhaps on P2P networks.
I think it's a valluable application especially for people like me with very
slow connections.

My spouse needs access to some RealAudio broadcasts for work, so
RealPlayer is finally getting installed again. She needs to timeshift
some of the broadcasts. Some broadcasts are available for subsequent
download, but some are ephemeral. What are the available free
applications to save RA streams for later replay?

Major criteria are base functionality followed by simplicity/ease of
use. I would prefer to avoid recording the soundcard output.

She barely surfs and refuses to leave Verizon and AT&T, so we're
RealPlayer Plus bound unless I find something quickly.
Unobtrusive/limited nagware/adware is marginally acceptable.

I'll start looking at/for these as soon as I post this.

Tinra?
old WinAmp?
Media Player Classic?
