Hi
Hope someone can point me in the right direction. My system uses 2 CFs ,
one protected by EWF and one not. I am using HORM to speed up boot time.
Normal time is about 70 secs, HORM about 35 secs, was hoping to do better
but that is under the requirement. Problem is once system comes up my app
does not receive the WM_POWERBROADCAST message unless the mouse is moved or
a key is pressed. I think the problem is the video driver ? When you touch
the key board or move the mouse the screen refreshes and my app receives the
WM_POWERBROADCAST message like I would expect. If I run this same test app
on my notebook I get the message as soon as the system comes up. The board
manufacture is sending me the latest video driver which I will try tomorrow.
Also if no hibernation the screen does not refresh the first time you touch
mouse/keyboard that is why I was thinking it was the video driver. System
is not ACPI compliant either. Any ideas ?
thanks in advance
