App doesnt find updates

Hi

My instalation at home has definitions dated April 23,
2005. When I try to do a "Check for Updates" the GUI
reports its up to date.

Since my work machine has definitions dated May 11,2005.
I believe there is a problem with my installation at home.

Any Ideas?

Hi, try this:

- Right click om MSAS icon in systray and choose shutdown
- Open Windows Explorer and go to Program files / Microsoft Antispyware
- Rename gcThreatAuditScanData.gcd to gcThreatAuditScanData.old
- Rename gcThreatAuditThreatData.gcd to gcThreatAuditThreatData.old
- Start MSAS and try menu file- check for updates.

Also it is not necessary to "Check for updates", MSAS checks this
during restart.
Verified and working.
