I just got done filling out a customer service form at HP.com. When I went
back to double check my spelling, I noticed all of my apostrophes printed
out/showed up as squares. I am running ie6, with windows xp sp2 with all of
the windows updates. Also, I have office xp 2002 installed with all of their
updates. I know this is minor compared to other problems people are having,
but I want to know why it is doing this and how I can fix it. Thanks!

Hi cg :-)

I am not sure why this may be happening, but, here are a few of things you
might try:

First, check the Encoding
Go to View>Encoding and see if the setting is for the right Encoding for
your selected language. For English, it is usually one of the Western
European (Windows or ISO), Unicode (UTF-8)

Check that the Language is correct:
Tools>Internet Options>General>Language
Make sure the Language you want is selected

Check the Accessibility settings:
Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility
For normal use, nothing in this area should be checked

Then, go to the Website for your printer and update your printer driver.
Sometimes the drives need to be updated to add the newer information.

If still no joy, contact the Webmaster and let them know of the problem. It
could be something in the webpage coding that is causing the Apostrophe
character to be misprinted.

Hope this helps.
