I have a question: Can I connect a 250GB harddisk to my Aopen ax6bc
motherboard flashed to 2.59 & Award Bios 4.60 PGMA?
On the Aopen site they say that harddisks larger than 136GB are supported
since release 2.41. ("Supports IDE detection of HDD size over 136GB")
Is there another limit after the 136GB limit?
Does anyopen had any experience with this setup?

Not any limit that will be seen any time soon.

You need 48bit LBA support in the OS as well if you arent running Linux.

Not really. This should work.

Not me.

Thanks!!!

I had to add a PCI IDE controller, my bios (Award Bios 4.60 PGMA) didn't
recognize the full 250GB.
Everything works fine now.
