a friend of mine has aol and does not know how to create a
new email is there a quick way to explain how to do this
as I have never used aol
 
Keyword: Screen Names
The friend should now be able to create a new screen name.

Two observations:
1)AOL offers its own support.
2)How is this a network issue?

1. Uninstall AOL
2. Get a real ISP
3. Use a real email package, like Outlook Express
4. The rest is obvious

I recommend having your friend call AOL's help desk and ask them.
They're trained to help people with that type of question

Please ignore the people who gave unhelpful replies to your message.
That's not typical behavior in the Microsoft news groups.
