AOL icon in outlook express

R

Ron Delaney

Hope someone can help me. I have two computers that
previously ran AOL I have since got rid of AOL removed
the program and all AOL files etc. But still when I go
into Outlook or Outlook Express I get the AOL icon at the
top right of the screen. It is not creating a problem
but I would like for the AOL icon to be gone and the
Windows icon to appear.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ron Delaney

It would seem you've posted this question at least three times. Once is
enough.

There is a Registry item that controls this. Read about it here:

You can also get what apears to be a freeware tool that will allow you to
put anything you want in the icon box. See here:

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.
