AOL DSL compatability issues with Outlook

Dear anybody,

How do I get around the problem with my Outlook and aol's
dsl.

Attachments drop, emails don't go, error messages like:

....Sending and Receiving' reported error
(0x800CCCof) :'The connection to the server was
interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your
server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

AOL knows there is a problem, but doesn't offer support
for Outlook, I know there is a work around, but have no
idea what it is. I am able to use XP to work around
using their software (which they deny is possible
hahahah), but the problem remains. I am planning on
moving over to Bell South, but I know there still be a
problem-and the move is going to cost me since I need to
use a different line (new jack installed) to get the
residential service (cheaper) dsl. They will have good
tech support I know, but I want to solve the problem now.
I believe it has something to do with the random ips the
dsls use for protection or what ever, but that is the
only guess I have.

PLEASE HELP ME ....

Gosh,

I am sick...It looks like, after research I find, AOL is
doing some spam blocker thing. What is weird is that it
is suppose to block IP outside of aol from email aol
users and what it is doing to me is blocking an aol user
from using her website email to mail to anybody. It
really makes me mad and it makes me madder that they are
trying to force me to use another email software system
instead of outlook to send these mails. I like my
outlook and I don't want aol to force me to change to
something they are selling. They lied to me to get me to
switch to them in July and told me that everything I had
would work with them. I am finding stuff out there that
says this has been going on months before...at least
April.

PS: I am afraid when I go to Bell South I am going to end
up with the same problem...if not now eventually....what
a pain for me who is just emailing my husband who has an
address from my same site. I like the freedom of my
attachments to be larger in size than what these
providers or free email programs offer...

This is crap and DSL is not cheap. How can my provider
block me from using my own email software and my own web
site email. Find to block it to aol users, but to block
an aol user from using their stuff? Is this ok? And to
not tell me/actually lie before they signed me on to
their service? Is that legal?

Well, I am happy. I am dropping aol...my husband told me
to forget the hassel and just switch over, whatever the
cost. hahahahaaaaaaaa Well, a long time ago I tried them
out for dial up and they fail me and I left them for
another dial up (this was before my cable and now my dsl
*smile*) and now I tried them for dsl and they failed me
again. That is the last I will ever deal with them and I
heeeehehehe am taking my friends with me...send their
modem back, mom I am done.
