AOL 9.0 causes Blue Screen (stop code 44)

Four out of five times or there about, when I start AOL
9.0, as soon as the program brings up the sign-on screen,
I either get a blue screen (stop code 44) or the system
reboots. Any suggestions?
 
Have you talked to AOL? They have consistent problems with NT based machine
but not a lot since NT4. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled. Installed the
latest version? Any patches from them? What is a stop code 44? Is that what
the Blus Screen Says? like 0x00000044? What about the description of the
stop code?
