AOL 8.0/9.0

Justinstalled W2K and AOL 9.0. At first I was able to
access AOL fine. Now I get the BLUE screen stating STOP:
0x000000C9 and a bunch of other stuff. A second message
appears below this but the system immediately reboots.
Does the same thing with AOL 8.0. Thanks for any help.

Friends don't let friends use AOL.

AOL has a bunch of software that is needless and often conflicts and hogs
bandwidth, not to mention the spyware they install. They also offer no
content that you cannot get elsewhere. If you have broadband, you already
have an ISP and should need no other software to surf, etc., except a good
firewall (free from www.zonelabs.com) and a good virus program. A couple of
free spyware removal tools to check your machine periodically as well, such
as Spybot SD 1.2 and AdAware 6.

That said, you should probably be talking to AOL tech support. That
software is likely the issue.

Please do not take anything here personally. I just feel strongly about AOL
and a few other ISPs like them.
