I can't play age of empire anymore since I loaded xp on
my cpu. It starts up fine, plays the start up video just
fine goes to the main menu great, but when I click on
single player it tells me to put in the correct cd and
the cd is in. I have 2 drives that i use and have tried
them both to no avail. I can play the learn how to play
section of the game. Also when I try to reload the game I
get the setup file is not a win32 file. please help

Hi tdsteele,

Those 2 problems indicate that the CD or CD Rom drive
are either dirty or defective. Since you tested with both
drives the problem most likely lies with the CD.

Clean the CD and use a repair kit on any scratches.
Test the CD on another system to see if you can play it.

Go to www.gamecopyworld.com and get a NOCD crack then you wont need a
cd.

I hope your cd is ok as you wont be able reinstall the game if you
have to format your pc in the not so near distant future :(
