I've never bothered with drivers for that monitor. Windows recognizes it as
a Plug and Play monitor and automatically supports all the resolutions.

That is not a driver problem. It is exactly what it says. The monitor is not
receiving a signal from the computer. Have you tried the monitor on another
computer? Have you tried another monitor on this computer?

mine came with a floppy, and if I dont install the drivers from the
floppy,
my monitor will not work at all...I think it says something like "no
signal"...but its completly black...but its a good monitor

How did you manage to install monitor drivers on a system with a monitor
that is totally black.

I have an older aoc monitor 7vlr. I can`t get win xp to identify the
drivers for it. I put the drivers on my computer and went thru the add new
hardware wizard but win xp can`t find them.
