Ok, I'm new to dotnet. Not only do I need help I need to know which of
the dotnet groups would be best for this question. I have over 30
applications in Access with nearly 300 forms that have to be converted
to dotnet. Naturally redesign will be included but it would save a lot
of time if I could import to dotnet the forms used in the old
applications. It looks like the majority of controls map across. This
would give the look if not the feel the users expect. It would also
save a ton of time on form rebuild. Is there anyway to import forms
from Access applications into a dotnet project as a starting point?

I know there was some 3rd party tools for converting Access Forms into VB.

I am not sure how well they worked! The big problem is that controls on
forms in Access were not really objects on the form, just pain until they
got the focus.

Access controls had very different properties to VB controls as well.

I don't like your chances too much. I am in the process of trying to learn
VB.Net while I am doing an Access conversion.
