No problems setting up SSH under *nix, but the freeware
Windoze version is proving to be a problem, for some reason.

Anyone have simplified, foolproof instructions that they have
actually *used* successfully to make it work under 2k/xp?

Thanks.

Server or client???

I installed it as part of my Cygwin install, and it all just worked, W2K
and XP Pro.

Cheers,

with cygwin you can have both server and client, but cygwin require a
certain amount of hd space.
while, if you need only the client, putty could be a nice alternative.
