I found an archived copy of freeware HotmailBox version 1.3.11, released in
Oct, 2000, that is supposed to allow you to read and send Hotmail without
using a browser. Many people are not able to use Hotmail lately because of
java script errors, regardless of which IE version they are using. The
problem started happening to me a couple of weeks ago, but it started in
early Dec for other users. Many suggestions have been offered to fix it, but
none seem to solve the problem. So I thought I'd give Hotmailbox a try. I
couldn't find any user comments in google groups and the homepage is no
longer available. I'd like to know if the program still works, especially
since Hotmail changed the format in Dec.
