anyone notice lately IE6 hangs in google groups?

is this just me or have you noticed just in google groups IE6 is
hanging? i got all the patches (short of installing ie7) and it still
hangs , many times when loading up the thread list on the left.

any similar experiences?

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose ads for
malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince you that you
owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

Yep, happening to me too in another group. Can go anywhere else so far
and was surprised to get into this group.

All clean after checking with AVG antivirus and 4 other popular malware
checkers. Yesterday I was able to get into the thread that was causing
IE to lock up. Today NOT.
