Anyone nitice this problem..?

xp with most all updates.

This problem just started in the last week or so I believe.

The problem is when I run outlook I can send and receive but when I hit the
send button it hangs sometimes till it times out. It will most times finally
send the mail, might have to start and stop the send a few times.

Once and a while it will send in the blink of an eye..?
This will happen with or without a attachment

I uninstalled my virus software and disabled the firewall and shut down
everything that I thought might cause this. Still the same.

The kicker is my wife and I are on a local net. Her mail is through one ISP
and mine is through a different ISP.

I also checked the router and was ok.

Sometimes on both machines the mail will send "immediately".
Also, switched back to Outlook express and got the same thing.
I think it is a recent MS Update.

Any info would I would be so happy...

Most likely a ,ail server problem and not your end. Check the service status
of the isp.

Probably correct, this morning it is running much better than last night.
