Does Anyone know why my ie6 or ie7 browser won't display graphics, stylesheets and flyout menus like it should?

My HP Pavilion Media Center a1477c AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.2GHz has
- Integrated graphics ATI Radeon Xpress 200 series AMD Athlon 64 chipset
- is connected VGA to a HP vs19e 19-inch Flat-Panel LCD Monitor at a resolution of 1024x768 75Hz

I searched HP, ATI & Microsofts Support Sites for the answer,

I also looked at Accessibility and all check boxes are unchecked. General >Fonts is Latin Based, Arial (web) / Courier New (plain text).

/ 1024MB / 250GB / DVD / DVDRW / WinXP Media Center Edition 2005

Firewall or Hosts file may be blocking url to graphics or stylesheets.
