Anyone know what this is?

Hi. I've just been looking at Event Viewer System and have noticed the
following error message appearing several times:

The iomonkey service failed to start due to the following error. The system
cannot find the file specified.

I've found entries in the registry related to iomonkey and they seem to
point towards it being something to do with a legacy driver but I can't pin
it down to what the driver is for.

Has anyone here any idea of where iomonkey has come from? It's most likely
come from something I've installed then uninstalled but I don't know what.

Download Spybot and Ad-Aware. Run both in sequence to remove any
malware/spyware etc. See if that is identified for removal.

Thanks for the quick reply but I run both Spybot & Ad-Aware on a regular
basis and neither has found anything relating to iomonkey.
