Anyone know what this is linked to?

Hi all,

The other PC here seems to crash with this error.

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c000001d, parameter2 bf8c9ba0, parameter3
b88b025c, parameter4 00000000.


I think its got something to do with usbport.sys (which
I overwrote), or this mouse I've put on this
other system.

The system doesnt crash constantly, it only crashes
when someone seems to use the mouse. So, I would
say it has something to do with the mouse. BUT, what.

I see viruses can cause this crash, but the system has
been scanned with Spybot, trojan remover and Avast Pro.

And its clean. Any other ideas on how to fix this crashing?

Any info appreciated

Hi Paul
Have you Googled - I seem to remember there is masses of stuff out there -
very few definitive answers though - main causes are some piece of hardware,
so mouse could be yours. Don't remember reading that a virus etc was the
cause though. Try a different one.
