Anyone know a way to synchronise 2 calendars WITHOUT exchange?

I run a PC and a laptop on my home LAN. The laptop then travels with me to
work. Both machines are Windows XP Pro, both have office 2003. I want to be
able to synchronise my Calendar in particular (mail would be useful too but
not that important) between these two machines, but I can't figure out a way
to do it. I don't want to set up Exchange just to let me do this - seems like
a sledgehammer to crack a nut! The "primary" machine is the PC, as in that's
the one that sits there with an always-on broadband connection and gathers
mail, appointments, etc., all day every day. It also sync's with my mobile,
though I could set that up on the laptop too. Any suggestions anyone? I would
be so grateful for any help.

Due to limited space allocated on my office server, we all download mail to
our local machines. When I did that, my colleagues can no longer see my
calendar as every time I update my calendar, Outlook updates it locally. I
have tried to copy calendar but my colleagues still cannot see it. Any ideas
on how to undo this?

Put your delivery location pack to the Exchange server and create a rule
that moves incoming mail to your PST. You'll have to manually move your
calendar entries back to Exchange.
