The above question, i've tried 'retrospect' and i got manic-miner and
Jet-set-willy and some others....good too, anybody know any more freeware
sites where the whole game's ready for download??

For a lot of freeware games you could take a look at
http://www.caiman.us/. For games for a C64 you could take a look at
http://www.c64gg.com/DLs.html.

Retro remakes at www.remakes.org is pretty comprehensive.
