Super is a free program from a company called eRightSoft.com. You can
use it to convert media files from one format to another. I've been using
it for over a year and have found it to be extremely useful. Most of the
time, I convert .flv files to .wmv files, my favorite format.
However, a few days ago, Super was updated to a new version, 2007. I
was prompted to install this new version and did so. Since then, I have had
endless problems converting video files. Audio files convert okay, but
working with video clips is a nightmare. I have tinkered relentlessly with
the Super settings, but the program keeps reporting 'ERROR' every time it
tries to convert a video file.
I tried reinstalling the older version of Super, but I cannot launch
the program any more. Some how, eRightSoft has disabled it.
Anyone else using the new Super 2007 program, and are you having issues
with converting video files too? I've Google'd to find another free program
that does the same as Super, but no luck yet. I did find one free website
that converts video files, but not to .wmv format.
I contacted eRightSoft tech support about this, and my email was
returned 5 minutes later, saying "Access Not Allowed."
