Hey...

I am trying to get my firewall to allow me to play NFSU online. It says to
have your router set to allow ports open at TCP 10900-10999 and UDP 3658,
3659.

Can anyone give me a little help on how to do this? I can get in my router
setup and have already done some port forwarding to get AC to work. I don't
see where I can just open some ports though?

It's a Lynksys router.

One other thing that's odd.. I went back in my control panel to try and be
sure the firewall that comes with XP was turned off and I can't find it. I
clicked on the connection and the properties like it shows in the help
screen but it's not there anymore. I have seen it before, but now it's
gone? Wt?

LoL.. anyway.. any help is appreciated

Alright my friend, I too have had issues with linksys
routers they are a pain till you figure em out. Once you
log into your router your going to want to click the
advanced tab at the top of the page. If it isn't showing
right click the middle of the page at the very top and
select show picture. Once in advanced menu, select
forwarding, from this area you select which ports are
forwarded, to where they are forwarded, and if they send
or recieve data, or both. Don't forget to hit the apply
button. Also go into your network connections, select
your connection and bring up its TCP\IP properties.
Click advanced and then select the very last tab
options. Select TCP/IP filtering, and click properties.
Once on menu clear the check in the box allowing
filtering all adapters, and select permit all for each
circle. Hope this helps my friend. Hope your using HPNA
and not their wireless junk.
