Hi there.

Done an extensive search on the net for a program called 'Bmompa.exe'
that can be found working away in the processes section of the win 2000
pro sp4 task manager. What makes it worse is that there's no record of
it on the internet!!

Normally it will use around 6.920K memory (until I catch it and close
it down) but every so ofton, the pc sounds like it's going crazy, on
the internal speaker, and eveything slows right down and almost stops
the system. Looking at the processes, Bmompa.exe was using up 160k
memory and that was still going up.

'Norton Antivirus' hasn't got rid of it and I just scanned the pc with
'Spybot - Search & Destroy'. That left it behind also.

Any help would be fantastic.

Thanks

Andrew

First off, if you're suspicious, kill it from the Task Manager and try
AutoRuns from http://www.sysinternals.com to disable it from running
automatically.

Try emailing it to (e-mail address removed) with: SCAN
in the subject line, and for information on what it does, upload it to:

http://sandbox.norman.no/live_4.html

Do reply with the results!
