Same here on a Stylus Photo 830.
It seems to me, as if there is only one feed roller grabbing the paper on
the right hand side and therefore skewing the infeed.
The whole infeed tray is very cheaply done. There are no side-guides like on
the 600 for example.
You can improve the infeed, if you make yourself an artificial guide on the
right hand side, be it only by stacking a solid straight object against the
top, back part of the sheet feeder (bookcase, CD box or similar).
The E Stylus Photo 830 (U) excites with top photo printing quality, but
housing, ribbons, case, infeed tray, rollers etc are very cheap.
It's a bottom-end model. And it's not cheap to run. Cleaning cycles use a
lot of ink (repeat: A LOT OF INK ! ) and a photo printer like this with its
fine nozzles will clog up a lot, unless it is used at least every 3 days or
so, depending on air humidity.
This thing is like a car : a bottomless pit to throw your money in.
Prospective buyers: Unless you print photos every 3 days: you're better off
having your prints done at a pro shop. And this probably goes for other
brands as well.
