I am about to establish the IT Logbook using excel. Does anyone offer a
sample for that?

And just exactly what info would you like your IT Logbook contain?
AFAIK there isn't any "standard" IT logbook.

Thanks GLS, I know that would be hard to get the standard since each
organization has their own needs. At least someone could offer me a template,
so that I am able to add or edit whatever appropriate to the template. I am
totally lost in starting off creating the new template.

However, I have done it according to a template "Mileage Logbook1.xls" from
Microsoft Template. I will resume to use it until I get the better
excel/access presentation template.

Thanks you once more of replying my message.

Glad you found something that works for you. If you would elaborate
on what you're trying to do, myself and others, could give you some
suggestions. It's always possible that you're using the wrong tool.
What is it you are logging? Are there calculations that need to be
made? Are you tracking software licenses? System inventory and specs?
Users? Give use a hint.

Yes, it just included with simple calculation with cost (maintenance and
licenses) and manpower allocated to the job. I am not going to put more
option in the logbook. Just few meaningful column that help me to track
something in the future.

Previously I have piques to use MS Access, it seem too complicated however.
Thus excel would be the nicest way to do that.
