I am trying to get my Sapphire Radeon 9200 card to work with a Sony
KV30HS420 HDTV. I am using Powerstrip and attempting to run the TV at
1920x1080i but the best I can do is 1280x720p and even then I can't see the
whole screen (all 4 sides are outside the viewable screen). Any tips? I
don't think I quite understand the basic concept here of scan rates/front
porch/back porch, and on.... I could really use some tips if anybody has
some experience with this.

Thanks,

Are you using DVI or component? If you're using component then you should
be using the ATI dongle, but you really should be using DVI if the set will
accept it, which it should using an appropriate DVI->HDMI adapter cable.
And if you're using composite or S-video fuhgeddaboudid.
