anybody any experience

i am installing (or hoping to) all my programs on a seperate partition than
c:\ but in the past i have had a problem with norton internet security
scattering itself all over my c: drive even though i specified a different
installation path.

does anyone have any experience of this and if so what did you do. will NIS
only work properly if installed on 'c:'?

Most programs need to put at least a few things on the partition where
Windows resides. Nothing you can do about it, that's the way the programs
need to run.
