i posted this yesterday, but it was 'covered up' by somebody posting about
10-15 times, anyway:

an application which can edit configuration files remotely, and run
scripts, open programs and such. if there is a reasonable ammount of
interest, or if enough people think there will be, i'l finish it,
otherwise, i wont bother.

i wrote it for a college assignment, but i didn't get round to finishing
it. the final version wil feature asyncronous encryption and base64
encoding for binary file transfer, uploads/downloads and maybe integration
with windows password files

it will be released under the GNU GPL (free as in speach, and in this
case, beer too (see gnu.org))

anybody interested?

I think your program will be used, even if not by those reading here
now.

Go ahead and finish it up. It seems such a waste not to.

You can put it on a personal ISP web site and somewhere from 3-6
months the search engines will have it. Or, if you have the
inclination, you can submit it to archives. This is tedious. I suggest
only worrying about the best sites. I wasted a bunch of time
submitting to sites that were very shortlived.

Another brick in the wall? Sure!
