Cropping in shapes (not just squares)

Special Effects (Sepia, B & W, Speckled, etc)

Framing

Sort of features you find on average mobile phone really

If you want more than the very basic photo editing found in Windows Photo
Gallery, you'll need to go to a third-party program. Some suggestions, all
free:

Picasa from Google

and is compatible with PhotoShop plug-ins.

IrfanView does not have non-rectangular cropping shapes.

You do not actually have to install anything, as there are web based
applications for basic photo editing now.
