any windows platform - email on server

I have somewhere in opera on my mac chosen not to delete
emails from server. my mac crashed. how do i change this
setting in windows? when i use mail2web.com (when out of
town or when my computer crashes), and haven't done so in
a while, it has all of the emails which i received since
the last time i used mail2web.com.

That depends on what e-mail program you are using on your Windows PC.
Each mail program may have this setting in a different place. The default
e-mail program included with Windows is Outlook Express. To modify this
setting in OE select Tools, Accounts and go to the Mail tab. Select your
mail account and click the Properties button. Go to the Advanced tab.
There you can specify that you want to leave your messages on the server,
and control if you like when it gets removed from the server.
