Can someone with alot of free time help me remove the background from icon
that I use when someone bookmarks my website in IE? If you do help me, you
can send the new .ico file to my hotmail account.

You might be able to download my icon by clicking on this link:
http://workingpapers.org/favicon.ico

Or give me permission to email you the icon.
Or go to this website and just bookmark my website and restart your IE to
see my icon.

Of course any assistance will be appreciated.

I'm only a novice at this, but I decide to create some Icons on one of my
new sites, like you I wanted rid of the background image to my Icon, so I
transferred it into Microsoft Gif Animator which came free with Frontpage
CD, after you load it, select the image tab, then click the transparency and
select the colour you wish not to see, it may mean a little more work on
your Icon but it could be worth it.
Good luck and happy hours computing
Allistair

You can open and edit both layers
using the utility I posted the link to earlier.

Thank you very much for your time. You too Allistair. I know this sounds
bad, but I really didn't want to take the time to learn something new for
something I only have to do once. You saved me alot of time.
