Hi,

Is there a way to customise the numbers of the FP hit counters. I can see
that you can specify a link to an image but is this just a static image?

Any advice would be appreciated.

make a graphic with the numbers 012456789 on it. then specify it as the
custom counter image. FrontPage will cut it up into 10 equal segments and
display as individual numbers. the hardest part is making the graphic as
the digits must be spaced just right.

your top level buttons are java applets. java applets have fallen out of
favor and the jvm required to use them is not included with xp etc.
You should consider not using them and going with a different mechanism.
you're going to have unusable navigation for a rapidly growing number of
visitors.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the advice - you have shed some lignt on a subject that was
confusing me. I have actually had one person complain about the site saying
that he couldn't load the navigation buttons and I had now idea what the
problem was. It would appear it's a sign of things to come.
If you don't mind me picking your brains. What other mechanism would you
recommend I use for hover buttons. I know I could use a text hyperlink or a
static image but I like to put a subtle hover effect on my buttons.
I currently us FP2K to design my sites. If I upgraded to the latest version
would it use a more acceptable method of producing hover buttons?
Just so you know: I have absolutly now knowledge of HTML :o(

Thanks in advance,
