In order to access my company's network (via Nortel
contivity), I needed to join my company's domain. But, in
doing so, I can no longer access PCs in my home's local
workgroup ("workgroup"). Any way I can have both?

There should be nothing to stop you accessing PCs in your home's workgroup.
Can you expand on the problem you're having?

I needed to set the computer ID to be part of a domain
(examplee: "foo.com"). This was done in the control panel,
(System->Computer Name->Network ID Wizard). When you set
up as part of a domain, it loses "workgrouP" for some
reason - I can no longer access other PCs at home under
"workgroup".

If you go to the Start | Run dialogue and type \\machinename where
machinename is the name of another machine, you should be able to get the
other computer's shares up.

If not, replacing machinename with the IP address of the other machine
should have the same effect.

Regards

Oli
