any significant differences between version 9 and 10?

I need to get a new copy of McAfee anti-virus. I used version 8 last
year and I am about to buy version 9 (for $4). Why buy version 10 for
$11?

Daily updates.

McAfee retail VirusScan v8 and v9 are only able to get updates on Wednesdays or if a
specific "hot" virus is out and signatures are specifically released for those versions.

McAfee retail VirusScan v10 follows the enterprise/corporate versions in being able to get
updates daily. Daily updates (Mon ~ Fri) were introduced towards the end of February '05.

I think the change is that one of the bosses has changed to a more expensive
whisky brand.
