Any plans to support JVC (.MOD) files natively?

Please someone tell me that Microsoft will support that new format
natively... I've been using the software bundled with the camera but it looks
like a kid designed it...
Then I've been converting the .mod files using vdubmod but the processing
time is just inmense as well as the files...

Please tell me Microsoft will eventually support the format...

Movie maker in Vista, has support for DVD/MPEG2 files. I guess MOD is also
one of MPEG2 files. if you can send me a short clip I will test it on the
beta. Use support at rehanfx dot org

Yes I sent it there... anyway I sent it again from a different account.
Hopefully this time will make it. The file is 5MB in size. If its too big
I'll send anotherone smaller, just let me know.
