Any network info

I want to learn about how to set up a very smal company-like network at
home:
eg. a company has 3 staff and 3 computers, what hardware do I need like
hub....
Any tutorial can be found on the web ? I think I should not set up as
peer-to-peer. I like to simulate a actual company network setup so that I
can gain experience.
