Any info on this one?

I have a problem, I don't know if this is the right group for it but
what the heck..
My explorer keeps automatically flipping to a porn page, teenhqpics.com,
and it always sets that page as start page. Sometimes when explorer
isn't even running it suddenly opens a window with either that porn page
or google (google isn't even my start page..) and my favourites are
always filled with various shit..
I've tried running ad-aware but to no avail.
Does anybody have any tips? This is a medium pain in the ass..

There are a couple of threads in alt.comp.virus on start page hijacking.

Before long you'll get responses here [and there, if you repost to ACV]
giving you URLs for:

Lavasoft adaware
spybot earch & destroy
CWShreader

All of them are free.

BTW: Turn off your java script and ActiveX completely, and you won't have
this problem as often.

Go to TOOLS, Internet Options, and reset your start page.

Nope nor Adaware or spybot did the trick, problem persist..
Does anybody know where to find the CWshreader thingie?

You will find CWS and Hijack This on that page......frankly I would run
both. But if you run Hijack This, please follow the instructions which you
will probably find on another page (or I will post them) and let a spyforum
group decipher it for you. My bet is on a browser hijacker.....but you can
run CWS first. Be sure to close all browser windows before running it.

Go to majorgeeks.com & get the spyware s&d and the hijack this. install
& then update the spyware s&d & then run it & review all & then of
appropriate select all or what you want & then fix problems, also run
immunize. Then see if it fixes it, if not reboot & then run the hijack
this program. you can post your results on http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/ &
post in the forums section. You might also want to get the cwshredder,
but I think the 1st 2 will resolve your problem.

The reason ad-aware didn't resolve it, is because your browser was
hijacked by spyware / mal-ware, not by ads.

I think the bad guy is called coolwwwsearch or something..
