Does anyone know what this error in the application
section of the event viewer might refer to?

A provider, OffProv, has registered in the WMI namespace.
ROOT\MSAPPS, to sue the local system account. The
account is privilaged and the provider may casue a
security violation if it does not correctly impersonate
user requests.

And can anyone tell me what RASMAN is? It shows up as a
logon process name.

Thank you

This isa warning message and will always appear when a
WMI provider registers with WMI, its just to let the
Administrator know. As RASMAN (Remote Access Manager) is
a Microsoft component this is fine.
