Any good - PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro EZ 256MB???

Hi,

I saw this card advetised - PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro EZ 256MB - for £99
and wonder how good it is in terms of performance, etc. Could I run Doom III
on it when it comes out?

Are PowerColor any good as a make? I assume all their cards come with fans
and not heatsinks?

THE 'EZ' tells me some kind of value card.....look at the specs of the non-EZ compared to the 'EZ' and see what your missing...
 
It will run Doom3. The question is how much eye candy will it allow? My
feelings are it is not a good card when a 9600 Pro 128mb can be had for
about the same price. The EZ means it's memory is clocked at the same speed
as a 9600 non Pro. So it's performance will be somewhere between a 9600 Pro
and a 9600 np. The extra memory is not of much use when you consider that
the high resolutions supported will be too slow to be useful.
