Shane,
Um....

Thanks,

Should I now write a message what is your intention with this answer it does
not help the OP in any way?

For who this don't understand this. it is related to an earlier intervention
from Shane were I used an anology not understood by Shane; and I agree a
very slippery one. However this does nothing.

If anybody thinks he/she would make this kind of answers, I doesn't bother
me.

Mike,

Try never to change your subject in a newsgroup, the newsgroup will create a new thread or even worse: tries to find a lately used message with the same subject.

Do it even not if you repeat your message. Those who help cannot see the related answers and have then trouble to answer or are given the same answers as already given.

I, for one, was very confused.

Just for the sake of idol curiosity, can you tell me/us what the subject
of this previous thread was?

I assume it was here in the m.p.d.languages.vb ng

Thanks Cor

Rory, this is the thread Cor is referring to:

http://groups.google.com/group/micr...browse_thread/thread/102ebc0b427eb902/?hl=en#

Apparently, Cor is upset that I commented on him posting two
(seemingly) non-nonsensical posts that I deemed off-topic. He has
taken offense to this and is now trolling me in a seperate thread.

Thanks,

Shane,

Cor, learn to read - my name is Seth, not "Shane"

You just did...

Besides, if you think about it my reply was actually on-topic. When
the OP sees my reply he will undoubtedly look back at his original
message and see that it was orphaned from his other thread. Also, if
my thread was off-topic, at least it was posted to a thread that did
not have a valid question. So even if it didn't add to the
conversation, at least it didn't subtract anything either.

Again, the name is Seth. And I understood your analogy, it just did
not apply to the topic. And once again, I was commenting more on your
second post than your first. I noted in the other thread I thought you
misunderstood the OP and I did not comment on the first post. But when
you posted the second post, which was unreadable, I asked you for
clarification on "what the heck you were talking about."

Thanks,

Seth Rowe

Seth,

I did not take it offensive at all, that is why I wrote respectfully. I has
just the idea that your tone was in away that you was judging to quick
before asking why I did it, I could be wrong, I could not see your face or
whatever.

This message in this thread was only meant to show that we all regulars
write sometimes things we should not do. However I don't feel me offended by
you at all. It could have been me who wrote it in the same case. It was
only the way you did it direct this time that made me a little bit sad, I
had not expected it from you.

I had then and have now respectful thoughts about your work in this
newsgroup and your common behaviour.

However, please don't try to inform the whole world when there is some
misunderstanding between you and me.

Cor, I glad to see neither us meant any harm to the other. Between the
"internet barrier" that prevents us from accurately displaying
emotional context and the slight language barrier problem (which
causes you to sometimes use an incorrect word which gives a vastly
different meaning to a sentence) I think our conversation turned sour.
I had then and have now respectful thoughts about your work in this
newsgroup and your common behaviour.

As do I for your contributions.
However, please don't try to inform the whole world when there is some
misunderstanding between you and me.

That is one of the pitfalls of newsgroups. I assume your email address
is invalid, which prevents me from conversing with you outside of the
newsgroup. I worried about posting anything, but I was mainly very
curious as to your meaning of the second post. If you want to provide
me your email, my associated email address is valid, that way I can
"harass" you privately.

Anyway, I apologize for any comments of mine that may have offended
you. I'll see you in the next Dispose/Don't Dispose debate..... :-)

Thanks,

Seth Rowe

Seth,

As Herfried once described: "Cor's email address is wide open".

Just don't use my first name only my lastname.

However I saw that you use a Google newsreader and I don't know if you can
see that in it, my last name is as one word without the spaces.

Ligt hert
