Hi there,

I've installed the ANWB-toolbar earlier (NL).
But, every time MS Antispyware gives a message.

So, since I don't use this toolbar, I've uninstalled it,
and I checked register.
But every time I start up my pc I get messages from
Antispyware that this toolbar wants to get instal changes
to my IE-settings.

Do anywhone have the same experience?

Regards,

Jaap

(ANWB is a reputable Dutch organisation like AAA; the toolbar gives info
about weather and traffic)
I installed it just for the fun of it......
It gives proper warnings and de-installs without leaving rubbish.
You have to restart windows, though.

I'm not sure whether what is happening here relates to the browser hijack
restore settings, or to some leftover piece of the ANWB toolbar which is
still present.

Given Jan's response, I tend toward the former explanation.

Check out tools, advanced tools, browser hijack restore settings, and set
the relevant items to what you want them to be. See of that eliminates the
prompt.

I have found the course:

I have removed the software through the configuration
panel, but there was still a key in the register.

After removing it, the problem is solved!

Jaap
