Is there a Antivirus for Vista yet.?
I tried a few, but wont install.
get error 0xC004D401

- Windows Live SafetyCenter
- Windows Live OneCare

All the other manufacturers are currently in beta stage with their antivirus
solutions for Windows Vista.

There are a few - my list needs updating but I'll kick start a new thread in
a minute.
For the meantime, check some of these (the later builds are more likely to
work)

Since AVG Free is now longer compatible, I installed Avast 4.0 Free.
Just take a "Custom" install, and select only the "Standard Shield".
Also helps to trim back logging level and a few other Program options.
Works fine - A little performance penalty, but not bad.

Does Windows Live OneCare actually work? It shouldn't do! :oP
