Antivirus question?

I currently do have anti-viurs on my computer, nor do I use it for internet
browsing. but do I still need AV, and if I do what is the best brand in
relationship to no draining all the resources on the server?
 
Any AV designed to work on a server.....my vote is against McAfee and CA
products, but that's just my $.02.
where version of anti-virus do I need to windows 2000 server?
