Antivirus package for Exchange server

I'm looking for a decent AV package for MS Exchange 5.5.
My company has used McAfee Groupshield, but whenever we reboot the
exchange server , it locks attachments for a few days for random
individuals, and as luck would have it, 99% of the time it's our CEO.

I've downloaded a trial copy of AVG, and was happy with that, but the
exchange engine tends to hang, and stop scanning. Their tech support
is stumped. So, now my search continues.

I also downloaded a demo of Panda, but when I was speaking to a rep,
she suggested that I not use the demo on a production box, as its
severly crippled. That, and the high price I was quoted, turned me
off.

I'm open to suggestions of where to go next. I would prefer if the
vendor had some kind of trial or demo I could use to test it out, or
at least a money back guarantee (even if it's only a 30 day one ) in
case I'm not happy.

Hi Gene
I would recommend either Sophos or F-Secure. Both have a good detection
capability and are updated several times daily and have superb
administration features. Sophos has less impact on system performance than
F-Secure, and has superior technical support. F-Secure is very slow and
bloated, but cheaper than Sophos.

Not that I doubt you but F-Secure is a real piece of work with my
encounters with it from worms knocking the thing out on the machines at
work to NT based machines doing blue-screens all over the place because
of F-Secure.

The company went back to Norton on the servers and workstations. Oh well,
I am not a big fan of Norton either, but at least workstations are not
crashing all over the place.

In five years of use on 150 workstations and servers I've never had a
major problem with F-Secure. IIRC you organization was running an
outdated improperly configured version of FSAV when the worm thing
happened.
