AntiVir personal edition classic, can't re install??

I've been using a free download of antivir p.e. classic on my laptop and
happend to uninstall it today (tried to download a payed version but it
did'nt pan out) but now wish to put it back on. I've tried to download
it and install, but it keeps getting a message that "there's a
uncompatible version on this computer, uninstall it and run setup again"
.. I restarted my pc after I uninstalled antivir classic the first time.
I don't know where this hidden version is that it keeps refering to, my
pc shows antivir is no longer there. Any ideas? I'll try emailing their
support but that may take awhile. Thanks,

Check out the Antivir forum <http://forum.antivir-pe.de/index.php?langid=1>,
there have been lots of people with the very same problem. You essentially
have to remove all h+bedv and antivir citations from the registry. There are
