I can not stop a POP-Up!! My OS is Windows XP Professional w/ a one year
old Dell desk top.
Every 3-4 minutes it loads my MS Internet Explore Ver. 6.0.2800 & brings up
one to 12 advertisements.

The following programs have not helped:
1 Norton AntiVirus 2005 updated

The following have been updated & run, also in “Safe Modeâ€
2 Ad-Aware SE Personal
3 Spybot – Search & Destroy
4 Spyware Doctor by PC Tools Software
5 MS AntiSpyware

I have used msconfig and unchecked ALL items in the start tab

The only time I do not get the POP-Up is when I am in “Safe Modeâ€

Download HiJackThis from http://www.aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe
and run it.

Post the log file that it creates to a HiJackThis forum such as the
one on MVP Jim Eshelman's site
