You can repair Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) using Add or
Remove Programs in Control Panel. Click Microsoft
AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then click
Update.

Hello Engel,

actualy there is a real repair function!

Try this,

Goto: Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove programs/MSAS
then click on suport info!!!
Then click on repair!
This is a other way but it works also differend!

Hello Tom

I´m using XP

Thanks any way.

Hi Engel

What Tom means is if you open Add/Remove screen and click
on the MS Antispy entry ,You will see the two options you
mention 'change' or 'remove' .But you will also see:

When you press that it will give you the option to carry
out a repair.

Well spotted Tom !

No Problem Tom anytime,

Glad i could help out

It helped me too as i never saw the repair feature untill
you sent me the dutch screenshot from yours so i was more
than happy to return the favour and send you a screen
shot of my version

Regards

Andy

Thanks Tom--I'm only now reading this thread, and if I was ever aware of
this button, I'd forgotten about it!

My guess, however, is that the functionality will be the same as the other
method. I've yet to see the Update function actually change to newer
code--so I believe both methods probably have the same result. I don't know
for sure, though, and maybe I can ask.
